If you're a college student like me, you don't exactly look forward to spending money after the holidays on tuition, books, and school supplies. The excitement has definitely dwindled since you were younger when mommy and daddy footed most of the bills, so I'm sure you can understand how insanely overjoyed I was to wake up and scroll through my emails to find a $100 e-Gift Card sitting in my inbox from Office Depot! I seriously felt like I won the lottery because buying school supplies can get ridiculously expensive. It's easy to walk into an office supply store and buy a bunch of things you don't need, so I really thought long and hard to figure out what I really did need for the spring semester.
8AM: Oversleeping + Quick Makeup - Time + Drawer Organization = STILL ON TIME
Makeup doesn't exactly have anything to do with school and studying, but the first thing I do is head to the bathroom in the morning. I rarely oversleep because I never schedule classes before 11AM - if anything I'm up super early, but whether you oversleep or just need a timesaver in your busy schedule, organization is key. I found these amazing trays for drawers and decided to pick up a few sets for my Sterile drawers. They are PERFECT and I'm already considering buying more. I have a habit of misplacing or overlooking my makeup essentials and throwing fits in the morning. You can't conquer that 10 minute everyday makeup routine when you spend 5 minutes searching for your must-have eyeliner!

9AM: A Million Things To Do + Post-It Notes = SANITY
The best way for me to remember the many things I need to do is to compile several lists. I create lists for school, for my blog, personal life...EVERYTHING. I even write sub-lists for the things on my list already! These destination-inspired and color schemed packs of Post-It notes are a must. The colors are fashionable and coordinate rather than those typical loud neons.

11AM: Notebooks + Colorful Pens + Highlighters = MEMORY
It's so easy to take notes and not even pay attention to what you're writing - I know from experience. It is much more effective to write in color to create lists + charts for simpler study sessions. It's so difficult for me to write in black and blue! I've been using my FORAY pens and Office Depot highlighters all week - they're perfect.

12:20PM: Hunger + Study Session - Time = HAPPINESS
Between class, meetings, and working, studying needs to happen! A lot of times when I need to have a light cram session between a test and grab something to eat within a short timeframe, I'll pull out my trusty notecards to refresh me on the main points of the content. These blank Oxford index cards allow you to draw diagrams and charts to help you remember things instead of simply defining words on ruled lines.

1PM-5PM: Online Courses + Surround Sound Speakers = MULTI-TASKING
This semester, I have three online classes, and I promise that I didn't plan for it to happen that way! It's great to have a bit more flexibility and the opportunity to work from home, but there are so many videos to watch! It's great that I can just plug my MacBook up and listen to the content while I clean my room or fold clothes. And it's perfect for my study sessions when I want to listen to some soothing study music.

9PM: 100s of Documents divided by Flash Drive = ORGANIZATION
As a merchandising major, a lot of my assignments are so creative and take so much effort that I don't want to just toss them in the trash bin once they've been turned in. One of the best investments any college student can make is for a flash drive or external hard drive. I've been meaning to buy one with more storage space for the longest time, so this was one of my best buys during the shopping trip. It's cute and is retractable so you don't damage it, which is so easy to do! Been there, done that.
